The College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel held a periodic meeting of its Internal Program Accreditation Review Committee, chaired by Prof.Dr. Mohammed Dakhel Al-Rikabi, the committee head, on Tuesday, 20 January 2026.
The meeting was held as part of the commitment of the college to implementing quality standards and academic accreditation, monitoring the progress of continuous improvement plans, and ensuring adherence to program accreditation requirements, thereby contributing to raising the level of academic and administrative performance.
The meeting discussed the operational mechanisms of the various focus committees, the progress rates of the approved improvement plan, and opportunities for continuous development in accordance with national program accreditation requirements. The committee chair emphasized the commitment of the college to achieving the highest quality standards approved by the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraq.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations : monitoring the implementation of improvement plans according to the established timelines; enhancing coordination among the committees; regularly updating quality-related documents and guidelines; supporting continuous development initiatives for academic and administrative programs; and contributing to maintaining the leading position of the college as the first private college to receive full and unconditional accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
