University Of Alkafeel
University of Alkafeel participated in inaugurating ceremony of the Al-Ameed Digital Quran Recitation Project, held by the Holy Abbas Shrine in the Imam Hassan Hall (peace be upon him). This project is the first national digital initiative for teaching Glorious Quran in the digital sphere. University of Alkafeel participated with its Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , represented by the Assistant Director of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Iyad Sahib Hammadi, and with a number of religious and academic figures.
The ceremony began with a set of recitation by several reciters from the Scientific Complex for Glorious Quran, then there were the national anthem, the anthem of the Holy Abbas Shrine, and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of Iraq's martyrs. A series of official speeches highlighted the objectives of the project and its importance in utilizing modern technologies to disseminate and teach the Holy Quran.
The event included a short film introducing the Al-Ameed Digital Quran Recitation Center, its content, and its features, in addition to Quranic recitations and scholarly lectures. The ceremony concluded with the honoring of participants and contributors to the success of this important Quranic project.
