The College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel held an awareness lecture : "Violence and Intellectual Extremism," by Asst.Prof. Azal Hadi Yaqoub, at the college on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The lecture addressed the concept of violence and intellectual extremism, their causes, and their negative effects on the individual and society, emphasizing the role of educational institutions in establishing a culture of dialogue and moderation and rejecting extremist thought within the university environment.
The main axes of the event aimed to enhance the intellectual and cultural awareness of the students , promote human and national values, and encourage the continuation of awareness-raising activities that contribute to building a balanced and conscious university personality.
