Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, President of  University of Alkafeel  , and Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, and the members of the  University of Alkafeel Council, received an official delegation from Al-Ayen  University, headed by Prof.Dr. Haider Abdul-Amir Al-Khafaji, President of Al-Ayen  University. The delegation included members of the University Council. The meeting took place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, to discuss prospects for joint collaboration between the two universities.

      The visit showed that a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities to strengthen academic relations and exchange scientific expertise, contributing to the development of the educational and research process at both institutions. Then the delegation toured  University of Alkafeel  , visiting colleges, classrooms, and laboratories to observe the educational integrated infrastructure and distinguished university environment that the university provides for its students and faculty.

    The visiting delegation praised the advanced educational systems and integrated infrastructure, affirming that  University of Alkafeel   is a model of reputable universities that adopt modern standards comparable to international universities, and to its unique and distinguished educational environment among Iraqi universities. For his part, Prof.Dr. Haider Abdul-Amir Al-Khafaji, President of Al-Ayen  University in Iraq, expressed his pride in this visit, emphasizing that the memorandum of collaboration includes scientific and administrative clauses that will yield positive outcomes for both universities. He commended the clear vision of the President and Council of  University of Alkafeel   in developing higher education and raising the profile of Iraq in  local and international forums.

      In this regard, the delegation also praised the significant support provided by the Holy Abbas Shrine, recognizing its active role in providing a comprehensive educational environment and attracting scientific talent, thus contributing to raising the quality of university education and enhancing its outcomes.

     This agreement is part of  the strategy the University of Alkafeel holds to expand its academic partnerships and strengthen scientific cooperation with Iraqi universities, contributing to achieving excellence and leadership in higher education and serving the scientific community in Iraq.
