University of Alkafeel presented a workshop : “Writing the Conformity Report for Institutional Accreditation” at Jabir Ibn Hayyan University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Hassan, Head of the University Performance Evaluation Section at University of Alkafeel , on Tuesday, 27 January 2026.
The workshop addressed the mechanisms used in writing the conformity report, the most important standards and indicators necessary for the institutional accreditation file, and the organizational and technical procedures that contribute to preparing accurate reports that meet the requirements for obtaining institutional accreditation. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and staff of the quality assurance and the institutional accreditation.
On the sidelines of the workshop, Dr. Hassan had the honor of meeting with the President of Jabir Ibn Hayyan University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Abdullah Mohammed, and the Vice-Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, Prof.Dr. Muhannad Hamid Al-Atwi. They discussed scientific and academic matters of mutual interest, particularly the topic of academic accreditation in Iraqi universities and its relationship to the integrity of higher education.
This workshop is part of the scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise between University of Alkafeel and other Iraqi universities, contributing to the promotion of a culture of quality and the improvement of institutional performance in accordance with approved national standards.
