The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel in collaboration with the College of Engineering Technology, organized an educational guidance lecture : "Interpersonal Skills" at the College of Engineering Technology on Monday, 2 February 2026.
The lecture was presented by psychological counselor Kawthar Alawi Kamel and aimed to highlight the importance of building positive interpersonal relationships based on mutual respect and understanding, given their significant impact on promoting social harmony and a healthy learning environment. The lecture addressed a number of important topics : proper methods of interacting with others, understanding individual differences, managing disagreements in a conscious and constructive manner, developing effective communication skills, and controlling emotions. These elements contribute to improving social relationships and enhancing mental health on both academic and personal levels.
Such an event falls in a series of guidance activities Al-Kafeel University is keen to organize in support of its students and staff and to promote a culture of dialogue and understanding on campus .
