As part of providing guidance and support to students, Asst. Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , delivered a lecture : "Adapting to University Environment" to first-year students in the Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science on Tuesday,3 February 2026.
The lecture addressed the most important challenges the students face in adapting to university life, emphasizing the need to cultivate a culture of accepting social diversity, respecting the privacy of peers, and avoiding behaviors that are incompatible with university standards, which fosters a healthy and positive learning environment.
