On Monday, 9 February 2026, the Dean of the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel organized a practical training session in the teaching clinics on the mechanism of therapeutic Botox injections for treating facial and jaw pain.
The training was presented by the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hassan Abdul-Shaheed . There was a detailed explanation of the methods of using therapeutic Botox and its modern medical applications and the practical exercises designed to enhance clinical understanding and improve the treatment efficiency of the participants.
The aim behind such an activity is to raise the scientific and practical level in the diagnosis and treatment of facial and jaw pain and to develop the skills of medical staff and students according to established medical principles. The incharges of the training emphasized the importance of continuing to hold specialized practical courses, strengthening the practical and theoretical aspect , and adopting modern treatment methods to contribute to boosting the academic and professional level at the college.
