On Monday, 9 February 2026, the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel organized a scientific lecture : "Human Trafficking Issues," presented by Asst. Lecturer Ali Salam Ali.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness about the phenomenon of human trafficking, define its legal, social, and humanitarian dimensions, and highlight its dangers to individuals and society. Also the role of the educational institutions was clarified to combat such a phenomenon.
The speaker addressed the concept of human trafficking, its types, causes, and negative effects on society. He also highlighted the legal and institutional efforts undertaken to confront this phenomenon and promote a culture of human rights. The College of Dentistry emphasized the importance of raising community awareness about the dangers of human trafficking and the role of academic institutions in disseminating legal and humanitarian awareness. It also encouraged students and staff to report any suspicious activities and pledged to continue organizing awareness lectures in this field.
