On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, the Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel organized a workshop : "Moral Values in Glorious Quran and Their Role in Rejecting Extremism." The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof.Dr. Iyad Sahib Hammadi, Assistant Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation .
The workshop focused on defining moral values in Glorious Quran and their impact on promoting moderation and tolerance, and rejecting extremism and fanaticism. It also addressed the topic of individual freedom and its limitations to ensure the rights of all people , and called for kindness and the avoidance of violence in human relations.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of disseminating ethical values on campus and instilling the concepts of moderation and tolerance. It also called for similar workshops to be held to boost their awareness of the extremism dangers .
