On Sunday, 15 February 2026, the College of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University organized a specialized scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Ashthaa Farouk Aboud, a gynecologist specializing in oncology. During the lecture, she discussed the latest strategies for managing life-saving obstetric emergencies : postpartum hemorrhage, severe preeclampsia, shoulder dystocia, and advanced maternal resuscitation.
The lecture emphasized the importance of clinical simulation training to enhance the skills of students and physicians. It also recommended the implementation of modern protocols and improved coordination and teamwork to ensure preparedness in critical situations.
