The College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel organized its first scientific forum for its scientific departments (FSBF) on Tuesday, 17 February 2026. The forum was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , and the Vice -Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the Dean of the College, heads of the scientific departments, academic staff, and the families of the top-achieving students from all five academic years, who were honored at the forum.
The forum aimed to highlight the scientific and academic activities of the scientific departments and review the development of their research and educational performance, particularly with the shift towards employing modern technologies in medical and dental education. It included scientific presentations and discussions on curriculum development, teaching methods, and the reliance on digital technologies, simulation, artificial intelligence, and modern systems in diagnosis, treatment, and clinical training.
The participants emphasized the importance of supporting scientific research and encouraging innovation in line with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements. They also stressed the need to enhance the role of the scientific departments in providing society with specialized medical professionals, thus contributing to the vision of excellence and scientific leadership.
