The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Engineering Technology, organized a Mahdawi cultural competition to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may Allah Hasten his reappearance). The event took place on Monday, 16 February 2026, in a spiritually boosting atmosphere filled with devotion and belonging.
The ceremony included a recitation of ayats from Glorious Quran, followed by a video presentation highlighting key moments in the life of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), emphasizing his blessed character and his role in establishing the values of justice and reform.
The event also featured a Mahdawi cultural competition to enhance the religious and intellectual awareness of the students , Then a poem was recited to express deep love and devotion to the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them). The competition witnessed a large turnout and remarkable interaction from students and faculty, reflecting the spirit of loyalty and commemorating the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them), and contributing to strengthening the cultural and religious atmosphere in the university campus.
These activities are part of the efforts of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation, in cooperation with the colleges, to support the ethical and educational development of students and connect them with religious occasions that cultivate a sense of responsibility, belonging, and awareness, in line with University of Alkafeel mission to build the character of the students academically and morally.
