The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a specialized scientific lecture : “New Horizons in Breast Cancer Management” on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, as part of its programs to enhance the scientific and clinical skills of its students.
The lecture was delivered by Prof.Dr. Talib Hussein, who discussed the latest developments in breast cancer management, focusing on targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and molecular technologies, and their role in supporting personalized medicine and improving treatment outcomes and the quality of life for patients.
The lecturer also emphasized the importance of adopting modern testing methods and encouraging scientific research to enhance the efficiency of students and medical staff and keep pace with global standards in medical education.
