University Of Alkafeel
University of Alkafeel participated in the handball championship organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of its support for university sports activities and to enhance the presence of student teams in official competitions. The team was supervised by Asst.Lect. Ali Hatem Al-Karawi, Director of the Student Activities Department, and accompanied by Coach. Nabil Kamel Al-Yassiri, from 8-15 February 2026.
This participation aimed to develop the physical and technical abilities of the students , instill the values of teamwork and fair competition, and support the Ministry of Higher Education and the vision of the Scientific Research to prepare well-rounded university students who combine academic excellence with athletic distinction. The championship witnessed strong competition among the participating teams, characterized by high organization and advanced technical performance.
The University of Alkafeel team delivered a positive performance, reflecting the commitment of the players and their high sportsmanship. This experience provided them with valuable insights through direct interaction with other teams, enhancing their readiness for upcoming competitions. The university emphasized the importance of leveraging this experience to solidify the performance of the team in upcoming tournaments, while continuing to support students, provide opportunities for external participation, focus on early preparation and regular training, and nurture promising talents within student teams to contribute to better future results.
