The Martyr Nasser Al-Moussawi Specialized Dental Center in Najaf organized a scientific workshop on Monday, 16 February 2026, targeting newly appointed dentists. The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hassan Abdul-Shaheed, Vice-Dean of the College of Dentistry for Scientific Affairs at University of Alkafeel .
The workshop addressed the importance of scientific research in developing medical practice and raising academic and professional standards. It reviewed mechanisms for engaging in research projects, enhancing scientific and practical skills, and improving the quality of healthcare services.
The workshop recommended encouraging newly appointed dentists to participate in scientific research, supporting research initiatives in healthcare institutions, and continuing to hold scientific workshops that contribute to the development of medical personnel. University of Alkafeel continues to provide its scientific and medical services to all beneficiaries, stemming from its mission to support the community and advance the health sector.
