The College of Medical and Health Technologies  at University of Alkafeel , with the participation of its various departments, organized a series of community activities as part of its community service programs. These activities targeted underprivileged families and orphans, reflecting the commitment of the university to fostering a culture of volunteerism and social solidarity.

    In its first activity, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, distributed food baskets, essential supplies, and a sum of money to needy families on Monday, February 23, 2026, during the holy month of Ramadhan. This initiative aimed to support low-income families and bring joy and happiness to them.

      Moreover , the Community Service Unit in the Department of Anesthesia Technology organized a visit to the Al-Baraem Orphanage on Tuesday, 24 February  2026, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation . Students and faculty members presented gifts and essential supplies to the children, recreational activities and guidance sessions designed to boost the self-confidence of the children ,  provide psychological and moral support, and instill a spirit of initiative and volunteerism among the students.

     Here the college emphasized the importance of continuing to organize such events regularly and expanding participation to include all departments within the college. This will enhance its community role and have a positive psychological impact on the beneficiaries. The college also noted that such activities reinforce the values of cooperation and community engagement among students.
