The College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel held graduation research discussions for fourth-year students in the Anesthesia Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology departments. The event took place in the discussion hall on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, in the presence of the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sadiq Ghani Jawda, the Vice-Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Amir Sadiq Yasser, members of the scientific committee, and a number of faculty members.
During the discussions, students presented their research findings to specialized committees of faculty members. The research covered diverse topics in the fields of anesthesia, intensive care, medical laboratories, and patient safety. The work was evaluated according to precise scientific criteria, including research methodology, accuracy of results, presentation style, and the student ability to answer the scientific questions .
This activity comes as part of the efforts the college shows to promote scientific research and cultivate the critical thinking and analytical skills of the students , as well as to connect theoretical aspects with practical applications in the healthcare field.
At the conclusion of the sessions, the committees recommended adherence to rigorous scientific methodology, reliance on modern and accredited sources, and encouraged students to publish their research in peer-reviewed scientific journals. They commended their high academic level and announced their successful completion of the research requirements after the necessary revisions were made.
