On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel held a discussion of the graduation research projects of senior students in the Radiology Technology Department. The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Fadhil Ismail Sharad, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Sadiq Ghani Jawda, and the Vice-Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst .Prof. Dr. Amir Sadiq Yasser.
The discussion included presentations of a number of scientific research projects that addressed various topics in the field of radiology and patient safety. The discussion committee, comprised of professors from the department, evaluated the students based on their research methodology, the accuracy of their results, their presentation style, and their ability to answer the questions. The committee also provided guidance to improve the quality of the scientific research, and emphasized the importance of adhering to the scientific methodology, the use of modern and reliable sources, and the encouragement of students to publish their research in peer-reviewed scientific journals . The high academic level of the students was praised, then the projects were approved for completing the research requirements after making the necessary revisions.
Such an activity is part of the efforts the Radiology Technology Department shows to enhance scientific research, presentation, and discussion skills, and to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the field of radiology.
