Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahhan, President of University of Alkafeel , the Student Activities Department held the draw for the Futsal Tournament on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The draw was attended by the department director, Asst .Lect. Ali Hatem Al-Karawi, and representatives of the sports teams from all university colleges.
The tournament aims to organize matches according to a clear schedule that ensures smooth competition and fosters interaction between teams. Teams will be divided into groups based on announced technical and legal criteria. The session included an explanation of the technical and refereeing regulations and the drawing of lots to determine the matchups, all conducted in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and professionalism. The committee recommended adherence to the sports uniform and sportsmanship, and the adoption of the match schedule. It should be noted that the department holds this tournament annually during Ramadan to promote sports activity in the university.
