University Of Alkafeel
As part of its commitment to community service and strengthening its role in society, University of Alkafeel , under the supervision of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , organized two community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadhan. These initiatives, undertaken by the Colleges of Pharmacy and Engineering, aim to support vulnerable groups within the community.
The College of Engineering distributed Ramadhan food baskets to a number of needy families. Several professors and students participated, accompanying the distribution team in a gesture reflecting the spirit of social solidarity, generosity, and volunteerism. In another initiative, the College of Pharmacy organized a visit to an elderly care home. Faculty members provided a meal to the residents, bringing joy to the elderly and emphasizing the importance of their care and well-being.
These initiatives are to provide material and moral support to those in need, to focus on the elderly, and to instill values of cooperation and social responsibility in students, while also highlighting the role of academic institutions in serving the community.
