Students from the Radiology and Anesthesia Technology departments at the College of Medical and Health Technologies, University of Alkafeel , in coordination with the department heads, organized a joint volunteer campaign to distribute food baskets to the needy families in Najaf Governorate on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadhan.
The campaign aimed to support low-income families and alleviate their living burdens, as well as to promote social solidarity and instill a culture of volunteerism among students. The initiative saw the distribution of more than 400 food baskets—200 from the Radiology Technology department and 200 from the Anesthesia Technology department—containing essential food items and covering several different areas in the governorate.
Such an initiative embodies the commitment of the University of Alkafeel to supporting volunteer activities and enhancing the role of its students in serving the community, thus contributing to a tangible positive impact on the beneficiary families.
