University Of Alkafeel
The Student Activities Department at University of Alkafeel participated in the 3x3 basketball championship held at Ashur University from 15 to 18 March 2026, under the supervision of the department director, Asst.Lect. Ali Hatem Al-Karawi.
The participation aimed to strengthen communication among Iraqi universities and create an interactive environment that contributes to discovering student talents and developing their basketball skills.
The tournament, organized by the Supervision and Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Student Activities Department, showed wide participation from teams representing both public and private universities. It was held according to the FIBA (International Basketball Federation) 3x3 format, considered one of the fastest and most dynamic game formats.
The University of Alkafeel team manifested a balanced performance throughout the group stage, winning three out of six matches and revealed a remarkable level of competitiveness that reflects its development and the determination of its players .
