On Monday, 30 March 2026, the College of Engineering Technology and the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel launched a community initiative as part of their community service program. This initiative involved visiting the Oncology Hospital to check on the patients, particularly the children.
The initiative saw the participation of several professors and students who were keen to provide material and moral support in an effort to bring smiles to the their faces and alleviate their suffering.
This initiative reflected the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion, as well as a sense of responsibility towards the most vulnerable groups. It not only provided assistance but also included psychological support to boost the morale of patients during their treatment journey.
This initiative stems from University of Alkafeel commitment to instilling noble values in its students and strengthening its role in serving the community and building a conscious generation imbued with a spirit of responsibility and compassion.
