The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a scientific workshop : “Using Digital Educational Platforms in Medical Education,” presented by Asst. Lect. Ghufran Abdul-Ilah Jawad and Asst. Lect. Ghaith Hassan Alwan, on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, with the participation of a number of faculty members. The workshop aimed to develop the skills of the faculty members in using digital educational platforms and to promote their systematic integration into the educational process, thereby contributing to improved teaching quality and academic interaction.
The workshop addressed mechanisms for employing digital technologies in medical education, focusing on modern methods that support the educational process and keep pace with technological advancements. The workshop concluded with several recommendations : enhancing the use of digital educational platforms in teaching, adopting modern, technology-based teaching methods, improving the faculty's proficiency in using educational technologies, and continuing to organize scientific workshops that contribute to developing academic performance.
