University Of Alkafeel
As part of the Sixth Student Scientific Conference, University of Alkafeel organized an exhibition of student projects from the Computer Engineering Department on Saturday, 4 April 2026. The event was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Asst.Prof. Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, and a number of faculty members.
The exhibition showcased outstanding student projects that demonstrated a clear ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical, computer-based projects, highlighting the growing spirit of innovation and excellence among the students of the department .
During his presence , the University President emphasized the support of the university for scientific projects and student activities, and its commitment to nurturing students and developing their scientific and practical skills. This event coincided with the academic achievement of ranking first among Iraqi public and private universities in the Ministry's (IRU) ranking the Computer Engineering Department gains . Such is a clear indication of the quality of its graduates and its academic excellence.
