University of Alkafeel  concluded its Sixth Student Scientific Conference, a two-day event with broad participation from Iraqi universities, as part of the Second University Sustainability Week. The closing ceremony was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, deans of colleges, assistant deans, faculty members, and members of the scientific committees of decision and discussion.

The closing session included honoring the winners from various departments of the participating universities in recognition of their scientific efforts and excellence in preparing innovative research and projects. Thanks were also extended to all those who participated in the conference, including the members of the scientific committees supervising the students and the administrative and organizational support teams who contributed to the success of this distinguished academic event.

     In his closing remarks, University President Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan  expressed his delight at the high quality of the scientific research presented by the students, emphasizing the importance of such events in promoting scientific research and encouraging innovation among students. He said, "I was pleased to see our sons and daughters from various universities presenting their scientific ideas and discussing their research projects with such seriousness and expertise. The scientific level you have reached reflects the academic progress our universities are achieving day by day, and this is a source of pride for us all. I extend my thanks to everyone who participated, whether students, supervisors, or committee members, and we hope that these high-quality scientific projects will continue to serve our country and benefit students in the future."

    The University President affirmed that success is the greatest blessing, wishing all participants continued success and progress, and hoping that these events will serve as a platform to show scientific talent and develop high-quality research projects that benefit society and support the path of sustainable development.
