On Sunday, 5 April 2026, the Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel organized a training workshop for its students : "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)." The workshop was presented by Dr. Abdullah Haider Al-Tufaili in the Internal Medicine Laboratory.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the basic principles of CPR, develop their skills in dealing with cardiac and respiratory arrest, and train them to apply resuscitation techniques correctly and safely according to approved medical standards. The workshop included a theoretical explanation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) steps, covering assessment, airway opening, chest compressions, and artificial respiration. Practical training using educational mannequins was also included, highlighting common errors and how to avoid them, and emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety procedures when dealing with emergencies.
