As part of the Second University Sustainability Week activities, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Medical and Health Technologies, University of Alkafeel , held a celebration on Monday, 6 April 2026, to mark World Laboratory Day. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Fadhil Ismail Sharad, the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Sadiq Ghani Al-Mahna, and the Vice-Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Amir Sadiq Yasser Al-Adhari.
The celebration included an interactive lecture presented by a group of students from the department. The lecture addressed the normal ranges for laboratory test results, how these results change during certain illnesses or relapses, and how these results can be used to accurately diagnose medical conditions.
At the conclusion of the lecture, the top students from all academic levels were honored by the Dean and his deputies in recognition of their efforts and academic excellence. They emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing students' academic level and practical skills.
