The Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering Technology, University of Alkafeel , achieves a remarkable academic milestone, and becomes the first engineering department in Iraqi universities (public and private) to receive full, unconditional programmatic accreditation for a 4-year period .
Such an achievement coincides with the ranking first of the department in the recent Iraqi University Ranking (IRU), issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This ranking reflects the quality of education, the competence of the faculty, and the excellence of the students.
Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel , stated that the full programmatic accreditation and the top ranking in the Iraqi university classification demonstrate the university commitment to the highest academic standards and enhance its standing in the field of engineering and technical education, both nationally and internationally.
For his part, Asst.Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, affirmed that this achievement is the fruit of continuous efforts to develop curricula, train faculty members, and create a modern educational environment that supports scientific research and practical applications.
