The Student Activities Department at University of Alkafeel organized the finals of the Faculty Table Tennis Championship, attended by a number of faculty members and staff, under the supervision of the department director, Asst. Lect. Ali Hatem Al-Karawi, on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
The championship aimed to strengthen fraternal bonds among faculty members, promote a culture of sports participation, break the monotony of academic work, and create a positive competitive atmosphere that contributes to renewed energy.
The competitions witnessed outstanding technical levels characterized by high sportsmanship, following a series of elimination rounds that culminated in the final match amidst a strong academic presence and enthusiastic support from the attendees. Prof.Dr. Ali Khalaf emerged victorious, securing first place with a score of 3-0, while Asst. Lect.Ali Fouad finished second after a remarkable performance and exceptional skill throughout the tournament.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the winners in recognition of their efforts and active participation in the success of this sporting activity, amidst a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of camaraderie and positive competition in the university.
