University of Alkafeel , College of Medical and Health Technologies, Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, in cooperation with the Lifelong Learning Unit , organized a practical scientific seminar : "Practical Application" on Sunday, 23 April 2026, with the participation of a number of students from the department.
The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Mohammed Redha Ahmed Al-Sharifi, to train the students to deliver scientific lectures and develop their academic and practical skills. The seminar included introducing students to the operation of laboratory equipment used in pathological analyses and the procedures for using laboratory solutions, and explaining the steps for obtaining accurate results according to established scientific principles.
Such an event is to enhance the practical skills of the students and raise their scientific and practical competence, thus contributing to preparing qualified personnel capable of handling the demands of laboratory work with high efficiency. There were certain recommendations that emphasized the importance of encouraging students to hold scientific seminars and practical lectures to enhance their research and scientific capabilities within the university environment.
