University of Alkafeel , College of Medical and Health Technologies, Department of Cardiac Care Technologies, in cooperation with the Lifelong Learning Unit, organized a scientific lecture: “Myocardial Ischemic Disease” on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
The lecture was presented by Asst. Lect.Mohammed Murtadha Jabbar Hadi, to provide the students of the Department of Cardiac Care Technologies with essential information on myocardial ischemia, a crucial topic in their academic specialization. The lecture addressed the concept of myocardial ischemia, the mechanism of angina pectoris, its main causes and contributing factors, and explained its associated pathological aspects. Such an activity is to raise their scientific awareness and enhance their understanding of common cardiac conditions relevant to their specialization.
The lecture concluded with several recommendations : emphasizing the importance of preventing myocardial ischemia and the necessity of being familiar with initial management and treatment methods for angina pectoris.
