University Of Alkafeel
The Central Library Section at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Lifelong Learning Center, organized a workshop : "Writer and Book" on Monday, 13 April 2026. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members, students, and those interested in literature and short stories.
The workshop was presented by Asst.Lect.Ruqaya Muhammad Sadiq from the University of Karbala. During the workshop, she discussed the importance of reading and writing as two fundamental pillars in building cultural and intellectual awareness, as well as their role in developing students' creative skills.
The workshop aimed to encourage students to read and write in various fields and to promote interest in literature, particularly the art of the short story, thereby contributing to the development of their abilities. There were a remarkable interaction from the attendees through constructive discussions and questions, creating a fruitful dialogue that enhanced the value and objectives of the activity. It is worth noting that the workshop was part of a series of cultural activities that the university is keen to organize in support of scientific and literary activity on campus.
