Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Alkafeel , held a meeting to discuss the development of clinical assessment and the OSCE program. The meeting, held on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, was attended by the Dean of the College, Asst.Prof. Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakkak, his assistants and faculty members. The purpose of the meeting was to tackle the educational process and the efficiency of academic assessment in line with modern standards in medical education.
Prof.Dr. Alaa Al-Nasrawi from the College of Medicine at Kufa University presented the updated OSCE Exam Application program and explained its implementation mechanisms and its role in enhancing the accuracy and objectivity of clinical skills assessment. The attendees emphasized the importance of learning from successful experiences in this field to contribute to developing assessment methods and improving the quality of medical education. The meeting concluded with several recommendations : studying the adoption of the OSCE program, developing clinical assessment methods, strengthening cooperation with the College of Medicine at Kufa University, and continuing to adopt modern teaching and assessment methods.
