The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel , in collaboration with Oklahoma State University, held a joint scientific lecture : "Global Health and Evidence-Based Medicine," presented by Dr. Hala Al-Mousawi on Tuesday, 14 April 2026.
The lecture addressed two main issuers : global health and evidence-based medicine. It reviewed the latest scientific trends in these fields, emphasizing the importance of utilizing research evidence in medical decision-making to improve the quality of healthcare globally.
The event aimed to enhance international scientific cooperation and advance academic knowledge in modern medical fields. The lecture also recommended strengthening academic cooperation with international universities, adopting evidence-based medicine principles in medical practice, developing knowledge in the field of global health, and encouraging scientific research and the exchange of expertise among academic institutions.
