Based on the principle of cooperation between University of Alkafeel and governmental educational institutions, and in the framework of its community initiatives to serve the community and promote environmental sustainability, the university launched a volunteer campaign to maintain the gardens of Najaf Al-Ashraf High School for Distinguished Students. This included donating and planting a variety of plants and seedlings within the school grounds on Monday, 20 April 2026.
The campaign included maintenance and rehabilitation of the green spaces, planting diverse plants that contribute to improving the school environment and giving it an aesthetic and vibrant character, thus promoting a culture of tree planting and spreading environmental awareness among students. The campaign incharges emphasized that this initiative is part of a series of activities implemented by University of Alkafeel as a strategy f its social responsibility and its commitment to supporting educational institutions and establishing the concepts of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Ridha Al-Mudhaffar, Director of Najaf Al-Ashraf High School for Distinguished Students, expressed his gratitude to University of Alkafeel for such an initiative, praising the efforts of the volunteer staff in maintaining the gardens and planting the plants. He emphasized that these efforts have a positive impact on the students, providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
