The Lifelong Learning Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Alkafeel , organized a workshop : “Artificial Intelligence in the Job Market,” presented by Asst. Lect. Hassanein Ali Hussein, on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.
The workshop aimed to introduce the importance of artificial intelligence and its role in developing the job market, as well as to enhance the skills of the participants to keep pace with modern technological advancements and highlight its applications to the scientific and health fields.
The workshop included a presentation on the concept of artificial intelligence and its most prominent applications to various sectors, focusing on its impact on the job market and the future skills required. It also discussed the opportunities and challenges associated with using these technologies in the pharmaceutical field and witnessed active participation from attendees through interventions and scientific discussions.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably the need to raise awareness of the importance of artificial intelligence in both academic and professional fields, encourage the organization of more specialized workshops and courses, support the integration of modern technologies into the educational process and scientific research, and develop the skills of staff to meet the demands of the modern job market.
