The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a workshop : "How to Write a Paragraph in English," presented by Dr. Zakia Nasser Darwish, on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
The workshop aimed to develop the academic writing skills in English for second-year students and prepare them to write scientific research papers effectively by correcting fundamental concepts in paragraph construction.
The workshop included a systematic and simplified explanation of the fundamentals of paragraph writing, focusing on organizing ideas, constructing sentences correctly, and using appropriate linguistic connectors. It also featured practical applications that saw significant student engagement.
The workshop resulted in several recommendations : enhancing academic writing skills in English, encouraging students to develop their scientific research abilities, and continuing to organize workshops that support their skills.
