University of Alkafeel Holds Seminar on Philosophical Pillars of Education and Islamic Perspective

The Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel  held a specialized seminar : “ Philosophical Foundations of Education: Emphasizing Islamic Perspective” .The seminar took place on Monday, 4 May 2026, in the Palm Tree Hall at the College of Science. Attendees included the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, deans, assistant deans, faculty and administrative staff, and a number of students.

     The seminar was presented by Prof.Dr. Khosrow Bagheri Noaparast from the University of Tehran, Department of Philosophical and Social Foundations of Education. His lecture addressed the philosophical foundations of education through two main axes: the first focused on the general framework of educational philosophy, while the second emphasized the Islamic perspective and its role in building an integrated educational system based on values and principles that aligns with the requirements of modern science.


    The seminar showed a remarkable level of scholarly engagement from the attendees, as there were discussions and questions, which reflected an advanced level of academic awareness and interest in philosophical issues pertinent to education, particularly in the field of health professions.

     At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturer expressed his pleasure at visiting University of Alkafeel , praising its advanced infrastructure and vibrant academic environment, and the academic enriching dialogues during the seminar . He emphasized the importance of continuing such events in developing higher education and enhancing its intellectual dimensions. This seminar is part of the efforts for the University of Alkafeel to solidify the integration between theoretical and applied aspects and to embrace international expertise, thereby contributing to the improvement of academic outcomes.
