The Computer Engineering Technology Department at the College of Engineering Technology, University of Alkafeel , organized a scientific lecture : “Artificial Intelligence in Practical Research,” presented by Asst.Prof. Dr. Ali Jassim Ramadhan on Monday, 4 May 2026.
The lecture aimed to introduce the concept of artificial intelligence and its growing role in developing scientific research, highlighting its importance in supporting the work of faculty and researchers in academic institutions. It also aimed to enhance the skills of the attendees in using modern technologies for data analysis, accelerating research completion, and improving the quality of research outputs to keep pace with global developments.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members and staff. The lecturer reviewed the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in practical research and its role in developing academic and institutional performance. The most important challenges associated with using these technologies were addressed ; such emphasizes the need to consider ethical and scientific aspects. The lecturer showed practical examples illustrating the mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence to support scientific research and achieve more accurate and efficient results.
