As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the laboratory environment and implement the highest quality standards, the Laboratory Safety and Quality Committee at University of Alkafeel  commenced its second periodic visits this year to evaluate the university's college laboratories. These visits, which lasted six days according to a pre-established schedule, aimed to assess the laboratories' adherence to Iraqi laboratory quality standards, and to  evaluate the application of occupational and laboratory safety regulations. This contributes to enhancing performance efficiency and ensuring a safe and advanced educational and research environment.

      The visits included field tours of the college laboratories, attended by quality assurance officials and technical staff. The committee reviewed documentation files, work organization mechanisms, and the extent to which approved standards were met. They also audited the evaluation forms related to laboratory quality indicators.

     The visits resulted in the recording of developmental observations, which were recommended for inclusion in continuous improvement plans to enhance laboratory performance and achieve integration between theoretical and practical aspects. The committee commended the advanced level of University of Alkafeel 's laboratories in terms of infrastructure, equipment, and staff competence, confirming that they rival laboratories in scientifically advanced universities.

    These efforts underscore the commitment of the University of Alkafeel to applying comprehensive quality standards and striving to continuously develop its laboratories to keep pace with global scientific advancements and serve the educational and research process.
