The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a workshop :“How to Write a Paragraph in English.” The workshop was presented by Lect.Dr. Zakia Nasser Darwish on Sunday, 10 May 2026. The workshop aimed to develop the academic writing skills of both the students and researchers in English by introducing the correct principles of constructing scientific paragraphs, organizing and sequencing ideas, and clarifying the most important rules for writing scientific research papers.
The workshop showed significant interaction from the attendees due to its practical information, which contributes to developing their academic writing skills and enhancing their abilities in preparing scientific research.
At the conclusion of the workshop, several recommendations were emphasized : strengthening academic writing skills in English, encouraging students to develop their research abilities, supporting their skills in organizing ideas and constructing scientific paragraphs correctly, and stressing the importance of continuing to hold specialized scientific workshops in the field of writing and scientific research.
