As a strategy of scientific collaboration between University of Alkafeel and Iraqi universities, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University invited Asst.Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the University Psychological Guidance Department at University of Alkafeel , to deliver a lecture at a scientific symposium : “ Role of Family in Protecting Children from Intellectual Deviation” .
University of Alkafeel accepted the invitation, and the symposium was held at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University on Sunday, 17 May 2026, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and academic staff.
The lecture addressed the importance of the family role in promoting intellectual awareness and protecting children from intellectual deviations, as well as ways to build a balanced family environment that contributes to raising a conscious and cohesive generation.
The symposium showed a positive interaction from the attendees, while the Middle Euphrates Technical University presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Obaidi in recognition of his scientific efforts, stressing the importance of continuing academic collaboration between the two universities in various fields.
