The College of Science at University of Alkafeel organized an educational workshop : “Examination Instructions and Bologna Process Guide,” presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohsen Hassan Hussein and Asst. Lect. Fatima Tahseen Ali on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, with the participation of freshman students.
The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the Bologna Process system and its examination instructions, preparing them to adapt to the requirements of the new academic system. This would contribute to enhancing their academic awareness and preventing academic difficulties resulting from a lack of familiarity with the regulations and instructions.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of the mechanisms for calculating credit hours, grade distribution, and the cumulative grade point average (GPA) formula, as well as clarifying the fundamental differences between the Bologna Process system and previous traditional academic systems.
The workshop emphasized the importance of continued guidance and awareness support for students, as such efforts play a role in solidifying their understanding of examination instructions and reinforcing their ability to utilize their coursework effectively and achieve academic success.
