The President of University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shahid Al-Dahhan, chaired the University Council meeting on Saturday, 13 June 2026, in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, Vice-Chancelor for Scientific Affairs, and members of the University Council.
The President commended the efforts of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and all faculty members, which contributed to the university obtaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification. He praised this institutional achievement, which reflects the commitment of the university to quality and excellence standards.
He also emphasized the importance of monitoring national and international university rankings, given their impact on enhancing the academic standing of the university , and called upon the colleges and departments to intensify their efforts to gain more advanced results in various rankings.
In the same context, the university president urged the examination committees to continue working responsibly and exert greater efforts to complete their assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, adhering to the established deadlines for completing examinations.
