University Of Alkafeel
The Psychological Guidance Department at University of Alkafeel organized a mourning gathering as part of its program to commemorate the days of the month of Muharram. The gathering was attended by a number of faculty members and staff on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
There were several events : beautiful recitation from Glorious Quran by reciter Ali al-Zubaidi from the Holy Quran Institute of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine , reviewing the life of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) by His Eminence Seid. Hassan al-Baaj , and addressing the dimensions of his blessed revolution and the values of truth, dignity, and resistance against injustice it embodied.
He also discussed the reason behind Imam Hussein's (peace be upon him) title, Abu Abdullah, highlighting the injustice suffered by Abdullah , the suckling (peace be upon him) and the poignant human image it represents, embodying the tragedy of Karbala and its profound religious significance.
This event is part of the awareness activities organized by the Psychological Guidance Department during the month of Muharram to revive the legacy of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them) and strengthen the religious and moral values in the university environment.
