A delegation from University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Fadhil Ismail Sharad, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies, and Asst. Prof.Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Jabran, Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department, visited the University of Kufa on Sunday, 21 June 2026, to hold a joint preparatory meeting regarding the Ninth International Conference on Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation.
The delegation was received by Prof.Dr. Abbas Talib Al-Hadabi, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kufa for Scientific Affairs. The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Hussein Jaber, Director of the Quality Assurance Department; Dr. Zainab Abdul Razzaq, and Head of the Quality Assurance Section ; and Dr. Hawraa Natiq, Head of the Accreditation Division.
The meeting included discussions on the main themes of the conference, organizational and scientific aspects, and the development of initial plans, the assignment of tasks, and the formation of specialized committees. This is in preparation for the conference announcement and launching , which will contribute to strengthening the culture of quality and academic accreditation and improving institutional performance in higher education institutions.
