University Of Alkafeel
A delegation from University of Alkafeel , a number of students and faculty members, participated in the Unified Mourning Mawkib of Iraqi University Students held under the auspices of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein on Sunday, 5 July 2026. More than 5,000 students from various Iraqi universities participated in the mawkib , commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his family (peace be upon them).
For the University of Alkafeel such a participation reflected its commitment to instilling the values of Imam Hussein and strengthening the religious and national identity of its students through their active presence with the e faculty members at this spiritual gathering. The event demonstrated the unity of Iraqi university students in reviving the Husseini rituals and drawing inspiration from the principles of the Husseini movement.
This participation is part of the events the University of Alkafeel holds to involve its students and staff in religious and cultural activities, contributing to the consolidation of intellectual and moral awareness and strengthening their adherence to the values of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them).
