University Of Alkafeel
Under the patronage of the President of University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahhan, the Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Najaf Health Department, held a training course : "First Aid." The course began on Sunday, as of 12 to 13 July 2026.
The course aimed to develop the skills of the participants in providing first aid and dealing with emergency situations, thereby contributing to raising their readiness for rapid response according to scientific and practical principles.
The course saw the participation of several faculty and students from University of Alkafeel , and participants from outside the university. It included theoretical lectures and practical applications presented by Dr. Alaa Baqir Hassan, Dr. Karim Jabr Al-Zubaidi, and trainer Ahmed Jassim Dawood, covering the basic principles of first aid and how to deal with various emergency situations. It is to prepare a team of volunteers to participate in the medical units managed by University of Alkafeel to provide health and ambulance services to zuwar to the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during the Arba'een . This contributes to enhancing the field readiness of volunteers and reinforcing the university's social and humanitarian role.
This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel to develop the practical skills of university faculty and students and prepare them for active participation in volunteer initiatives and community service, especially during major pilgrimages.
